When the poly jersey is a good weight - not to light so it feels cheap and not too heavy that it feels frumpy

Within the centre of the braided loops is a little silk splash of brilliant green and it is only when you open the coat that you see that the lining is made out of the same bright green silk

Each sleeve is adorned with a wide velvet cuff and that same velvet is used on the collar - it sits wide when open or high up to frame the face when buttoned

The cuffs are both finished with an 18" band of fur that is either a mink or a sable

It appears to have never been worn of worn very little

It is an incredible antique textile and the workmanship on it is fantastic. I have taken numerous photos and included many of the blue underside as I think that it is as beautiful as the embroidered top layer. At some pinto someone has added snaps to keep it closed. It also looks like it was folded and stitched at some point in its history to give it that
