Upcycling has been part of my work ever since I started WEIZ Copenhagen 25 years ago. I love the idea of giving old materials a new life and turning them into something even more beautiful than before. This jacket began its life as a vintage silk scarf that had been sitting unused at the bottom of my wardrobe for years. My first idea was actually to make a vest. But then I got a new idea.
