These give the dress a good weight but because it is balanced perfectly around the neck it is still very comfortable to wear

Depending on how you look at it the color seems to ripple across the surface and you are never quite sure if it is pink or purple

There is the slightest of darkening to the lame thread near the arm edges but I am being extremely picky

It really is one of the most phenomenal dresses I have ever had and the workmanship is exquisite. It is constructed from yards and yards of bias cut black silk organza. Down the front of the dress is a trail of silk and velvet pink roses that are set along padded velvet stalks. The leaves along the vines are hand painted onto the silk in a gold paint and then each is detailed with a layer of gold
