She was born in Syria in 1901 and came to America where she married Simon Barsa in 1922. Her husband had a successful business but it got into trouble after the 1929 stock market crash so she started making lingerie. She imported her fabric and embroideries and made high end lingerie up until her death in 1975. This is a lovely piece that is not one hundred percent perfect but is too over
