The gown is in excellent condition and is of course

It still does have its dated Saks Fifth avenue tag present that dates it ti 1973

It is simplicity mixed with extraordinary fabric

The interior is lined in black satin and I am certain you can detach the tassel (it has a lobster claw clasp to make it easy to do just that) and flip it inside out

A rare find indeed, this suit, from the s s 1970 collection, was photographed by Jeanloup Sieff, and appeared in the February issue of French Vogue that year. That same photograph was also republished and used in the 2012 book
