This piece is in the Bead pattern, which was patented in 1893. The pattern displays a classic beaded edge and front tipt detail. The bowl of the scoop has a great fluted design with scalloped edge and a slight gold wash. The front of the handle has a monogram D in a flowing script. The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Durgin. There is also a retailer's mark
