Rare c1805 English Pearlware Pink Floral Red Swan Finial Teapot purity The rectangular ends measure 1/2Presented is a wonderful English pearlware porcelain teapot, dating to circa 1800 1810. The pot is made in a classical form, emulating older English silver pots, with fluted decoration in the body and a toothed tongue and dart type of design to the upper rim. The sides are beautifully painted with pink and red flowers and green leaves, and panels of puce latticework around the upper body and lid. The lid has a fabulous swan form finial in a rich shade
