Alexander, whose promising career has been cut short by the cruel hand of death. His early years were spent in the nunnery of Omaha in Nebraska, U. S. A., where he received his first education. But the cloistered atmosphere of an old world nunnery become too much for a body of his spirits, and he made good his escape to enjoy the freedom of the wider world. He
