This is a fairly modern piece. The small pendant is securely prong set in the center with a quilted, synthetic sapphire. The sapphire measures 9. 2 by 7. 1 by 4. 9 millimeters, approximately 2. 9 carats and has a wonderful, deep blue hue. There are 2 modern, brilliant cut diamonds set above the sapphire. The back of the bale is marked 14K and has a makers mark.
