She has a leather head with black thread hair and is wearing a leather head band with beads

as they have been carved to have feather like scallops in the black jet

It has a wonderful folky image of a large bird with two "antennas" on its head in the interior of the bowl

The basket is in excellent condition

East Coast Doll canoes She has a leather headThis is a very old doll wrapped in 2 cloth shawls and wearing a brown skirt with beaded designs on it. She has a leather head with black thread hair and is wearing a leather head band with beads. Her faded face was drawn on the leather. She is wearing red cloth moccasins with beadwork on them. She is quite dear and would be a wonderful addition to any collection of early Native American dolls. L. 10" c. 1850 #9019
