The set consists of three Georgian knives, with three Victorian knives made later to match. The handles are done in a stylish half ribbed pattern, each finely hand engraved with a crest of a boar's head couped. The blades are carbon steel in the Old French form, and as such have a very sharp edge. Carbon steel will darken with use, and should be cleaned promptly
