This listing is for a splendid Kyo ware tenmoku chawan made around 10 years ago by Suzuki Akira. It is wheel thrown and features a yuteki tenmoku glaze. Yuteki means oil spot, and this appearance is achieved by adding layers of iron based glaze that bubble up through one another and leave small spots. It has a beautiful smooth finish and is
