The seas around Harris are full of every type of cetacean from dolphins to whales and orcas

The bowl is been fired once in the kiln to create the design as a flat piece

Each coaster is 10cm x 10cm with 6mm thick glass for strength and comes with small bumper feet to keep it off the surface

The post box is made from hand cut pieces of glass

assembled and fired in my kiln in Seilebost

Island Coasters luskentyre The seas around Harris areThis pair of coasters is imprinted in blue onto a clear glass base with the outline of Harris and Lewis and the outlying islands of Taransay, Scalpay, Great Bernera and Scarp. The coasters made from hand cut pieces of glass, assembled and fired in my kiln in Seilebost. The island outline is made from glass powder on top of a clear glass base which is fused at a high temperature to create a flat and glossy finish. Each coaster is 10cm x 10cm with 6mm
