Workshop Sunset Size:XL Cape Don served the CommonwealthWarm afternoon light cuts across a derelict workshop floor at Halvorsens Boat Yard in Putney, lifting dust motes through the air and picking out the outlines of forgotten machinery and tools. The facility once included engineering workshops, blacksmithing and lumber shops, machine shops, and sheet metal fabrication areas, all serving a boatyard that built 1,299 craft between 1925 and 1976. Part of the Halvorsen's Boat Yard series.
