I captured this spectacular sunset in August, when we enjoyed a succession of beautiful sunsets in Northumberland. That evening the seals were singing their mournful lament out on the sand banks, and the sky was painted with a vivid palette of orange, red and bruised purple. The distinctive profile of Lindisfarne Castle and the lime kilns, stand out
