Our custom internal flange joist hangers are made from 3/16" A36 plate and are for connecting your beams to a wall or another beam at a right angle

A heavy-duty angle bracket in 1/4" steel with each leg 4 inches wide by 6 inches long

If you use an N plate at the top of the truss you will probably use a U plate on the bottom of the truss

The I6  is useful for connecting timbers end to end or as straps that overlap timbers on any face
