Black cherry, menthol, licorice, dried herbs, chocolate, spice and new leather infuse the 2019 with tremendous depth and resonance. The finish is deep and substantial, adding to an impression of real gravitas. I was quite impressed with La Fleur de Board this year. The wines seem to have an added level of nuance and finesse to complement the richness they have always shown.
