The ear wires and jump rings for this set are surgical steel so they will not turn or tarnish. My wife is sensitive to certain metals and she can wear these ear wires. The stones measure about 19 x 12 in mm. This set is top domed with flat backs. This fordite occurred as a result of painting vehicles at the plant at Parkway in Toledo Ohio. Picture props
