Slingerland Artist Model 14"x5.5" Snare Drum - Sparkling Red (1965) Digital Metronomes Has lots of minor cosmeticWe believe this to be a 1965 Artist model 14"X5. 5" 3 ply 8 lug snare drum in the Sparkle Red finish in very good used condition. We believe the shells to be the unimold maple poplar mahogany shell with solid maple inforcement rings. It was around this time that Slingerland switched to maple inner plys from mahogany. The stick saver hoops are brass and the muffler appears to be original. The Zoomatic strainer and butt plate are functioning perfectly.
